4-wheelin'

Clearing trails for horses can be hard work... or an excuse for a lot of fun! Claudia and I borrowed a four-wheeler this weekend and explored some new areas for trail riding, including some cross-country escapades where only a hint of a previous trail remained. Eventually we rejoined a trail we knew, and now Claudia can go back and clear it a little better for the horses to get through, and use it for her trail rides.

So who owns this land you're tearing through? I don't understand how you can do trail rides all over in the first place, let alone actually creating new trails, presumably cutting branches on someone's private property or on public land...?

Most of the land we were on is a part of the farm where we keep our horses. They're happy to have us take care of it, and they also benefit when Claudia brings in more clients either to board or to ride on their land.
