Snow and ice
An inch of snow and ice has shut down schools and snarled traffic for two days straight here in Virginia. Our new president poked fun at Washingtonians today for shutting down over a bit of snow and slush, but the kids sure enjoyed two days of forced vacation and sledding on very slick, icy hills!

It's very pretty! Schools (not ours) were closed down here today for snow.
Your photo makes it look slick enough to close schools! And I can imagine the fun the kids had on the hills. I hear there is lots of snow in ON and I wish I was back home to enjoy it! Mom
*Sigh* We're back to warm chinook weather here again this week and no chance of missing school (or work). I enjoyed our bit of winter while we had it.
