Old Town Loon 138
I'm selling my Old Town Loon 138 kayak on Craigslist, looking to upgrade to something with dry storage and maybe a foot or two longer. $350 or best offer -- do I have any takers?

What would that kind sell for new?
The Loon 138 goes for around $700 new. The Perception Carolina which is one of the options I'm eyeing goes for $950 new, but since kayaks work just as well after a few years, I'll be looking for a used kayak as well. The main thing that changes in kayaks over time is the seat style (they keep coming up with more and more comfortable designs!) and the colors that are in style. Otherwise, a kayak is a kayak, and if it floats it will hold its value pretty well.
I wish we were visiting you by car one of these days. We would love to buy it. But there is just no way to get it to Kemptville in the near future--unless you guys decided to take a trip up here...
Sold!
Where are you located?
