First day of school
Jordan just got on the bus a few minutes ago. He's all excited about being in Ms. Smith's 3rd grade class this year, and taking the bus every day! He got greeted warmly by the bus driver, and peppered with questions about his new baby sister. I think he's off to a good start. :-) Our little boy is growing up so fast!

There's something just so poignant about that photo. It's wonderful. You need to frame that one. How did his first day go?
His first day went great, he came home excited and happy about his teacher. One of his first comments was "I really think I got the best teacher this year -- because she said sometimes she doesn't give homework!"
At his age--already "burdened" with homework! But I'm so glad he loves going to school. His introduction to the education system these past few years has been so positive, and that will do him good stead in the many school years ahead of him.
