Looks nice. And you did intend to get a door for the basement one of these days anyway, didn't you? Now to remember to keep it closed :-) I wonder what age it is when little crawlers can be taught to back down the stairs?
Yes, there had actually been a door there when we bought the house, but we had removed it and stored it in the basement until now.
